Unlike any pedal you’ve ever ridden, the pendulum breaks some rules and features a platform that’s below the axle providing unparalleled stability! Unencumbered by a long axle, the pendulum features infinite concavity, creating phenomenal pedal feel and grip
Low & Stable
The base of our platform sits 7mm below the centre of the axle. Most pedals place the platform ~6mm above the centre of the axle. This effectively lowers the rider's centre of mass ~13mm offering significant stability, and control. During sudden decelerations, the pedal acts as a pendulum and swings forward cradling the rider's foot in a heels-down position. In the event that you take your foot off a pedal, our pedals are self-righting
Thin & Smooth
Without the requirement of traction on both sides, we were able to make them a mere 7.5mm thin at the outer edge and optimize the shape to glance off of roots and rocks
Concave & Grippy
Without an axle underfoot, the shoe is free to flex a small amount, offering an exceptional amount of grip on the pins and a locked-in pedal feel
Strong & Serviceable
Our pedal bodies are made out of 7075 aluminum. Each pedal houses 2 robust 7902 bearings. Total pedal weight is 227g
